Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. In the age of 18, Ladd made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd later went on to take down three opponents within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were finished within the first few minutes. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's professional career. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and prevailed via armbar submission in the second round. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her via third-round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. Aspen won her fight with a TKO after the second round. In her last fight for Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks via an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground to pick up a second-round TKO victory. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd took on Evinger to the punch in the first round and earned a Bonus Performance of the Night. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first major match. Ladd took home the fight of the night bonus, after both fighters had hard in a tense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. For a rematch She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was lost by majority vote.
