Toni Collette has been an Australian actor for more than twenty years. The actress gained fame through the comedy Muriel's Wedding and gained even more recognition after the release of the thriller mystery The Sixth Sense. Since then the versatile actress has worked in numerous films, including The Hours, Japanese Story, About a Boy, Little Miss Sunshine, The Way, Way Back, Knives Out and Hereditary. The work she has done on TV in the United States of Tara, Wanderlust as well as the mini-series Unbelievable has brought many accolades. Her home town of Falls Church is where she lived for the bulk of her childhood. The passion for acting and arts started at a young age, taking dance classes in the Washington School of Ballet. She initially had great success in her dancing career since performing in many school plays. When she entered high school she performed in each musical that her school staged and that is when she began acting instead of dancing; she even earned her Equity card when she performed in an annual summer performance of Aida. When she was in her first year of college, she joined Carnegie Mellon University to study drama. However, she was not able to graduate as she left after two years in order to pursue her professional acting. Life as a family Louisa was raised by a family of four. Lida jeanne Wright is American as well as Robert "Bob" Henry Krause is half Japanese. Her younger brother is named Nathaniel Krause who is a director in a movie company. Krause loves spending the time she has to cook and taking family trips. There is a strong emotional bonds with her elder brother. She even purchased a house near him to allow them to spend more time with him. Louisa Krause's Career Louisa Krause started her professional acting career without any money in or out of it, but to draw the attention of some large film production firms. Her strategy worked. In a Dark Dark House (2007) the actress was one of the stars in the off-Broadway show Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Then, in the latter part of 2007, she began her acting career in the film industry as a supporting actress in Babysitter as well as The Speed of Life. After a 2-year hiatus and her first movie roles came in Taking Woodstock & Toe to Toe. After that, she dedicated the next 2 years to short films. Her work is also well-known due to her cinematic works. The show she most recently appeared in, The Girlfriend Experience was Nominated for the Golden Globes for her character Anna Garner.
